Role Description

  • Local HR Services is responsible for the efficient and compliant delivery of standardized, country-specific HR services and process consultancy, partnering with HR colleagues, Corporate Functions and External Vendors using latest HR tools and technology.

  • Local HR Services Senior Consultant manages the daily workload by accurately applying local knowledge and expertise that is required to ensure all HR processes are running according to SAP standards, SLAs and meeting local compliant regulations. 
  • Also, has very good knowledge of global and cross-country processes and consults within the team and colleagues from other departments on cases that require a senior level of expertise and judgment.  
  • This Senior role is a point of contact and escalation point for the team members concerning issues and questions. Provide guidance and coaching to the team through the collection, documentation and communication of lessons learned outside of day to consultation to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of their services.
  • This role assists the Service Delivery Manager on MMT level to oversee daily operational issues supporting global/regional projects and ideally leading such projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates day2day operations for Local HR Services Russia.
  • 2nd level support for all kind of HR inquiries from employees and managers in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • Managing HR outsourcing providers including payroll and vendor relationships
  • HR Portal page maintenance and input for HRdirect knowledgebase 
  • On-boarding of new hires and related administration
  • Administration of contractual changes, Provision of HR statements, verification and employment letters 
  • Standard reporting
  • Has E2E process knowledge, identifies standardization and improvement opportunities, supports process alignment and HR shared service migration activities
  • Loops back to manager risks, issues and decision needs 
  • Involvement in exit procedures
  • Benefits administration
  • Administration during restructurings and M&As (mergers and acquisitions)
  • Seeks feedback from customers to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Building relationships with other HR Global Service Delivery teams, CoEs, HRBPs, and other departments to facilitate the support for processes that the team supports. Becoming a "partner" and displaying the benefit of a combined working relationship.  
  • Involved in local, regional and global project management responsibilities to support the standardization and improvement of processes, systems or tools. 

Education and qualifications / Skills and competencies

  • Related Degree/Diploma or comparable HR work experience
  • Knowledge of Russian (CIS) employment law/ legislation- preferred
  • Professional communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Highly customer oriented 
  • Quality driven, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to plan and organize work well 
  • Work well on own initiative and independently without supervision, must be self-driven and highly motivated
  • Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures
  • Ability to work with confidential information  
  • Good knowledge of HR processes
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Russian & English language skills written and spoken fluently is essential

Work experience

  • 3 years plus working experience in similar role in HR
  • Local Labor Law application experience
  • Managing vendor relationship (team of approximately 3)
  • Customer service experience
  • Work experience in HR Shared Services environment- preferred
  • Experience working in multinational company
  • Project Management Experience Desirable
  • SAP HR system knowledge
  • Experience in working in a virtual team
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system usage desirable
